Klima Kalima (Kalle Kalima, guitar – Oliver Potratz, bass – Oliver Steidle, drums) is an energetic jazz trio with an expressive and original sound. The music is, however, rooted in the tradition of modern jazz. band plays mostly Kalle Kalima´s compositions. The band has released a debut album, “Helsinki on my mind”, at ZYX Music in 2004. The Albums “Chasing Yellow” (2007), “Loru” (2010) and “Finn Noir” came out at Enja Records. In 2020 Klima Kalima will celebrate their 20 year path in music and start the year with live concerts in Berlin 23-24.1.2020 which will be recorded by RBB and released as live Album later. New Program around space travel!
